Overview
These sessions will introduce the latest science and studies related to job crafting and how it can be used to personalise one's approach to work in ways that harness individual strengths and interests and make work more meaningful, productive, and fun. Stories and examples of how people can use job crafting to boost wellbeing, professional growth, and performance will be shared. The work together will be action-orientated.
At the end of the first session, we will set a personalised job-crafting goal. In the second session, we will review how successfully we achieved the goal and what helped and got in the way of making the changes we wanted.
By the end of the session, participants will:
- Be familiar with the science and application of job crafting.
- Use practical strategies to apply job crafting in day-to-day work (for ourselves and others).
