Overview
Caring is a unique role that comes with its benefits and challenges. The need to support carers has never been so apparent. This session provides coping strategies and creates a safe space for sharing lived experiences.
It will focus on evidence-based strategies from Positive Psychology for navigating the challenges of caring responsibilities, such as recognising signs of burnout, exercising self-help, developing resilience, practising practical strategies for better mental health, and valuable tips on becoming emotionally resilient.
By the end of the session, participants will:
- Recognise signs of early burnout and know where to get help.
- Understand the barriers to recovering from adversity and negative emotions.
- Use strategies to develop mental and emotional resilience at work and in life.
