Overview

Managing upwards involves proactively managing your relationship with your manager and occasionally adapting your approach to meet your and their goals.
This workshop allows delegates to reflect on their relationship with their managers and identify strategies for working more effectively together.
You may also find Coaching and Mentoring helpful in supporting your development.

  • Break: There will be one short break halfway through the session.
  • Preparation: Participants are asked to read through a short pre-course materials pack. A fuller handout will be provided after the course.
  • Style: We will discuss key topics and share experiences/challenges. There will be question-and-answer elements and opportunities for group discussion.
