Employee Recognition Awards
Celebrating staff excellence within the Property Division.
The Property Division Employee Recognition scheme is all about celebrating the Division’s success, and recognising the hard work that makes it possible. Nominating a colleague is great way to showcase excellence in their work, whether in a one-off project, or consistently going above and beyond in their daily tasks. You can nominate someone for an award using the online form.
Our awards are aligned with our ambitions for the ‘Great Environment’ pillar from the enabling roadmap and the five Imperial values. The Imperial values both underpin and reflect our behaviour and are critical in shaping our working environment.
How to nominate
It’s easy to nominate a colleague, all you need is:
- Name of the nominee
- Reason for their nomination (max 200 words)
- And a tick-box option for people to select which of the Great Environment’s sub-categories the person’s work falls into

The Awards
The nominations are considered by a voting panel made up of 10 people from the Property Division with the support of our Administration team.
Our awards are monthly with winners chosen at the end of each month.
Categories
Employee of the Month: Our primary award, Employee of the Month is awarded to a colleague who has gone above and beyond in their role and stands out in the value they've brought to their team and the Imperial community!
Innovation Award: One of three thematic awards, the Innovation Award is for colleagues who have used inspired approaches that have elevated the work of Property Division and our broader community.
Cornerstone Contributor Award: One of three thematic awards, the Cornerstone Contributor award is for colleagues whose dedication and consistent levels of excellence have enabled us to drive progress in our work, time and again.
Ripple Effect Award: One of three thematic awards, the Ripple Effect award is for colleagues who have acted as a catalyst for positive change, with their work unlocking potential in other areas of the Division, or Imperial as a whole.
Prizes
The Employee of the Month winner will receive a £100 Amazon voucher, and the winners of the Innovation, Ripple Effect and Cornerstone Contributor awards will each receive a £40 Amazon voucher. All winners will also be invited to a celebratory lunch together to recognise their valuable contributions.
