OneNote
OneNote offers a versatile space for you to capture your notes. PDFs, PowerPoint slides, drawings, images, web links or drawings can be added to notes, aiding revision and organisation by having everything stored in one place. You can also use the audio tool to record everything that is being said so you don’t miss a thing. OneNote stores all notebooks to OneDrive automatically so all of your notes are backed up and available across all of your devices.

To install Office on a PC or Mac:
- Log in to Office 365
- Your username is your Imperial username followed by @ic.ac.uk: abc123@ic.ac.uk
- Your password is your Imperial password
To install Office on a tablet or phone:
- Open the App Store or Google Play
- Search for Office 365. The apps are by Microsoft Corporation.
- Install and open an app
- Swipe through the introduction screens until you see Sign in now
- Your username is your Imperial username followed by @ic.ac.uk: abc123@ic.ac.uk
- Your password is your Imperial password
Notability
With Notability you can take notes on your computer, tablet or phone whilst also recording audio content. PDFs and lecture slides can be annotated with drawings and hand drawn text, allowing you to make rich and engaging notes to come back to later.

Guidelines for use
Use of lecture recordings is limited to the personal use of the student making it and for educational purposes only. Unless you have the written consent of the lecturer, recordings and parts of recordings may not be redistributed. For clarification, redistribution, which is prohibited, includes sending a copy to another person by email and adding it to a website / social media website (e.g. YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter). Misuse of lecture recordings will be treated as misconduct and will be handled as a disciplinary matter under the Code of Student Discipline.
