There are currently 15 student faith groups at Imperial. These provide an ideal way for students of the same faith to meet, practice their faith together, and socialise. Some of the events are held in the Chaplaincy and we are happy to help and support all faith groups.

At Ahlul Bayt Islamic Society, we empower fellow students to engage in intellectual discussion founded on universal human values, and ethics of discussion. By striving for knowledge and wisdom, we wish to bridge the gaps created by ineffective communication and misconceptions in society. Our community is active and enthusiastic; we invite you to join us during our weekly discussion circles, Friday morning reflection sessions (with free breakfast for all!), and inter-university and inter-society sports sessions. We also host a number of bigger events on unique topics each term, aimed at forming creative solutions or approaches to the predicaments faced around the world. In the past, these have included: "Economic Genocide", "Peak Oil Crisis", "Jesus in Islam" and "Christianity, and Muslim Civilization".

We are a new religious society whose message is Love for All, Hatred for None. We aim to both spread and practise the true, peaceful teachings of Islam, through goodwill activities, as well as through regular talks & Q&A sessions. We hold a wide variety of events on a range of thought-provoking topics- from the peacefulness of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), Women's Rights in Islam, Spirituality, the Nature of Prophecy, and even poetry nights! But that's not all. Our faith is divided between serving God, and serving his creation, ie: humanity- and we have big plans to do so in a way that societies never have before! This society is also very keen on interfaith dialogue, and anyone who's come to our discussion forums can attest to that! In that spirit, all of our events are free and open to all! Do not think that this group is just for Muslims, or any particular denomination of Muslims at that- we are open to everyone- If you believe in promoting peace, tolerance of all faiths, and serving the whole of humanity then join us- we share your values.

Our society exists as the non-religious counterpoint to the faith-based societies on campus. We're open to anyone identifying as atheist, agnostic, secularist or humanist, and we're very friendly to those who fall outside that description as well. Our aim is to provide a place where like-minded people can meet and hang out. We also represent non-religious interests at Interfaith and other events around campus. Most of our meetings involve talking at the pub, but we also have speakers in and arrange group trips to bigger events, like Skeptics in the Pub and Nine Lessons and Carols for Godless People.

Have you ever wondered what it means to be Catholic? It is about living your life to the fullest, which is possible only by constantly discovering God. CathSoc is here to facilitate this. We build a community around Jesus Christ by spending time together in prayer and having fun. You will definitely not be bored at CathSoc - we have something for everyone. Prayer meetings, Holy Mass, retreats, philosophical and casual discussions, outdoor trips and indoor socials, good music and a great choir, movie nights, black tie events, good food and excellent company.
We know that the beginning of your university can be very intimidating - we've all been there. CathSoc is a great place to make your first friends at Imperial, who will often be your friends for life. And let's be honest: there is no better place to find your future wife or husband.
CathSoc is also an official institution of the Catholic Church and it provides all the means to grow deeper in your faith and learn more about God. We can provide courses for people who would like to get baptised and become full members of Our Holy Mother Church - the so-called Catechumens - as well as receive other Holy Sacraments: Eucharist and Confirmation.

Imperial's Christian Medical Fellowship is here to equip medical students to live and speak for Jesus. Whether you are a fresher or final year, grad-entry or Oxbridge, committed Christian or just curious about Christianity, everyone is welcome to join. Our aims are summarised by our name: Christian - We are here to support and encourage Christian medics in their faith and also to engage with those who are curious about faith. Medical - We provide a platform to discuss relevant ethical issues that we will face as well as educational support for medics such as the year 3 mock OSCEs. Fellowship - We love to spend time together at regular prayer meets across various sites and socials, which provide amazing home-cooked meals and time to build lasting friendships. We are very excited to welcome freshers to our growing family with events such as a 'families' scheme, which will pair up freshers with older years who will offer support and guidance in issues of faith and in our studies. Other highlights of last year included the CU/CMF weekend away, Text-a-Toastie, the annual Christmas dinner, an outreach Ceilidh and the national CMF students' conference.

The Christian Union is a group of people who want to know Jesus Christ better and tell everyone about him. We welcome all people from all backgrounds, both those who have already accepted Jesus as their Saviour and those who are interested in investigating his claims, whether or not you have done so before! As a society we want to give everyone at Imperial the opportunity to investigate the claims of Jesus, because we believe Jesus is relevant for all people through all time, including today at Imperial College!
We have a weekly meeting to equip and inspire one another by looking at the Bible, and a variety of events throughout the year to help as many people as possible have a place to thoughtfully consider who Jesus really is. We work closely with many of the other Christian societies at Imperial to provide events across Imperial's campuses. If you put your faith in Jesus Christ as your only hope of salvation, we hope you will want to join us in telling others about him. If you would not call yourself a Christian, but have questions or would like to learn more, we hope you will come and talk to us.

Bringing students and the church together, Every Nation Christian Society is here to help you engage with the students you live, work and breathe next to.
We want to welcome all Christians to come and worship on Imperial’s campus, and help share the message of Jesus with those who don’t yet know him. For those of you who aren’t ‘Christian’, or are undecided, you’re welcome anyway. We’re all on a journey towards truth, and we’d love to share yours.
I hope you are anticipating a hugely enjoyable and fruitful year at Imperial, and we want to share it with you. We would love to hear from you and answer any questions about the Church or life in London.

Our aim as Imperial College Hindu Society is to promote, practice and protect the Hindu faith within the university environment whilst promoting unity among the Hindu youth. We hold a wide range of events for everyone throughout the year, which begins with the Welcome Dinner where you will meet the committee and other freshers over a three-course Indian meal. Following this is one of our largest events, Ujaali, which attracts hundreds of students throughout the university to celebrate the traditional dance of garba and dandiya raas. Diwali ball is a chance for everyone to come together and appreciate the history of Diwali - not to mention an opportunity to dress in beautiful traditional attire. Later in the year is Sur, a workshop teaching Indian cultural art-forms such as singing, dance, and instruments. We also celebrate Holi, a day filled with colour and fun, and hold a Sewa Week, dedicated purely to raising as much money as possible for charity through volunteering and fundraising events. Other events include regular pujas and bhajan sessions, which provide the perfect opportunity to stay in touch with your religion away from home. We also hold education events, including motivational talks and debates, and our participation in national initiatives through NHSF via sports competitions and conferences enables our members to meet students from all over the country too! All of our events, attracting both Hindus and non-Hindus, are aimed at raising as much money as possible for charity, whilst providing you with as much fun and interest as possible! We look forward to welcoming you into our HinduSoc family!

The ISoc provides a plethora of regular events and services for everyone, including talks by world-renowned speakers, dinners, weekend trips and sporting events. Friday prayers are also organised for both men and women, and these are held in the Union building. Come and surround yourself with people that will help you worship the Most Merciful, and become righteous, upright members of your society. If you are a non-Muslim and want to learn about this beautiful way of life, we are here to help and offer you guidance from its sources.

The aim of the Jewish Society is to provide a home for Imperial''s Jewish students. We try to cater for everyone through a mix of social and educational events. On the social side, we arrange various outings such as trips to the cinema and theatre, ice-cream nights and BBQs. On the educational front, we bring in speakers, including Rabbis, journalists and academics, to discuss matters of Jewish ethics, history and politics, or sometimes just a general Q&A session. But our most popular event is definitely the Shabbaton, when we spend Shabbat in each other''s company either in town or in North London, and enjoy a scrumptious traditional Friday night meal. We also aim to have one trip away to somewhere in Europe together every year and in the past this has included places like Lithuania. IC JSoc is also in constant contact with other Jewish Societies and organisations, so you''ll find out about all the exciting events happening for Jewish students around London. On campus, we have an excellent kosher canteen offering hot lunches daily at great prices and facilities for Mincha (afternoon prayer services). We even have a common room for you to chill out in! The best thing about getting involved with the Jewish Society is that you will meet some great people, not only from Imperial but from other universities too.

Muslim Medics is a society that provides social and educational support to all medical students at Imperial College whether it be young blood or the wise oldies! Throughout your time at Imperial you will hear about our extremely valuable tutorials, mock examinations and revision sessions that will aid you during the course in achieving the best marks possible. We fully understand the expectations and pressure that will be placed on you but with years of providing excellence in teaching and welfare support we will ensure that all your educational needs are met. We also offer religious support to those who seek it or are just intrigued through events, newsletters and circles. Here at MM we have a large tight-knit community filled with love that is made up of people from all backgrounds whom we welcome with open arms and we hope you will also become a part of this community through attending our events and socials! Other events that we also host are charitable projects, PotMed for potential medical students and a variety of scientific events. Hence why our name is a bit of a misnomer as we cater for everyone; you don't have to be a Muslim or even a Medic to get something out of MM! Our aim is to point you in the right direction and fulfil all your aims whether they are educational, spiritual or even gastronomical!

All students regardless of nationality and religious beliefs are welcome!
The Overseas Christian Fellowship (OCF) is made up of a friendly, warm and loving group of international students who are curious about what the Bible says and its applicability to our lives today. We meet every Friday evening, where a typical session would include a short time of worship in songs, bible study and food! Our hope is that international students will be able to find a 'home away from home' at OCF and at the same time find encouragement, friendship and support as we journey and progress towards a greater and eternal home.
