Registration for spring term 2025
There is no registration for IAW. Instead, at the time of their DACR A1 result, eligible students will automatically be given access to the following term's programme.
The upcoming course officially starts on Monday 27 January 2025.
This online opportunity for guided writing support is designed for second-year doctoral students scoring level 1 or level 2 on DACR A2. Improving Academic Writing (IAW) consists of a 1:1 enriched feedback meeting with a CfAE coach on the student's writing, together with personalised writing support guidance. In most cases this will consist of a targeted programme of self-study designed to address and resolve issues.
Eligibility
If you are eligible for Improving Academic Writing (i.e. if you are a 2nd-year doctoral student scoring level 1 or level 2 on DACR A2), you will receive the bookings link with your DACR A2 result. If you no longer have the email with the link, please contact english@ic.ac.uk.
