This page will develop further as we write more about the project and develop the research and evaluation projects as we move into the second year of the project.
Writing
A series of blog posts on the project has been started on the Asociation of Learning Technologists blog.
- The first published in January discusses generating inclusive images to represent students.
- The second publish in July discusses the langauge used in developing and delivering inclusive digital assets.
A piece on stereotypes based on prior research and developed to aid the project development was published on the WonkHE blog in June.
Conferences
A presentation on using inclusive personae in curricula was presented at the UEL teaching symposium in January 2024
The StudentShapers project on auditing curricula for inclusive practice was presented as a poster at the Advance HE EDI conference in March.
Two presentations on the project have been accepted at the RAISE conference in September 2024. One presentation is in collaboration with a colleague at the University of Manchester working on more inclusive images for medicine and human anatomy.
