The Centre for Transport Studies contributes to undergraduate courses offered by the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering and also offers three MSc courses in partnership with University College London (UCL).
MSc Teaching
The Centre for Transport Studies offers three MSc courses in conjunction with the Centre for Transport Studies at University College London. The Intercollegiate MSc in Transport Studies (CTS) at UCL and Imperial College London brings together the transport research and graduate training capabilities of the Civil Engineering Departments of the two Colleges and their 30 years experience as leaders in this field of study.
The Centre is a single source for the whole range of multidisciplinary transport expertise that the two Departments possess or can offer with the help of colleagues elsewhere in London and in the transport profession. Further details on how to apply, course information and teaching staff can be found on the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering's website. More information on the course can also be found here and in the Course Handbook.
The 2013/2014 timetable for the Transport MSc option can be found below:
The MSc in Transport is a quantitatively orientated course that requires students to have some familiarity with certain basic mathematical concepts and notation. It is advised that students review Mathematics Refresher material in preparation for the rest of the course. In addition, items on the Reading List will provide a general introduction and background to a number of topics covered in the course.
Undergraduate Teaching
