Multiscale Modelling for Multi-layered Surface Systems (MSS)
Before joining Imperial College, Dr. Wang had worked on a variety of projects, including the nonlinear constitutive modelling of asphalt mixture, dynamics design of Coriolis mass flow meters and fracture mechanics. Dr. Wang's expertises mainly focused on solid mechanics, including the nonlinear finite element analysis, constitutive modelling, creep, fracture and dynamics design.
Currently, he is working on the development of Micromechanics models with crystal plasticity theory. An integrated design and analysis facility is under development, which might be a useful tool in the forming and mass manufacturing of micro products and miniatures.
