Pol Blasco received the B.Eng. from Technische Universität Darmstadt and BarcelonaTech (formally UPC) in 2008 and 2009, respectively. In 2011 he obtained the European Master of Research on Information and Communication Technologies (MERIT) from BarcelonaTech.
Now he is PhD candidate under the supervision of Dr. Gunduz in the Intelligent Systems and Networks Group, in Imperial College London. From November 2009 to July 2013 he was research assistant in CTTC, Barcelona. He was a visiting scholar in the Centre for Wireless Communication in University of Oulu (Finland) during the last semester of 2011, and to Imperial College London from December 2012 until July 2013.Previously, in 2008, he pursued the bachelor thesis in European Space Agency in the OPS-GSS section. He also has carried on research in neuroscience in IDIBAPS (Barcelona) and in the Technische Universitaet Darmstadt in collaboration with the Max-Planck-Institut (Frankfurt, Germany) in 2009 and 2008, respectively.
His current research interest cover communication of energy harvesting devices, cognitive radio, machine learning, decision making, multi-armed bandit problems, and neuroscience.
