Traumatic brain injuries are a huge problem that HEAD Lab is working across a range of disciplines to prevent, from sport to road traffic collisions. We introduce our drop tower helmet test rig which is capable of reproducing oblique impacts, a key causation of brain injury and provide some context with how this links to our computational modelling work. For more information about the drop tower or if you are interested in using our facilities, please contact Mazdak Ghajari (m.ghajari@imperial.ac.uk).
