Compuquake is a hands-on workshop aimed at nurturing the future STEM talent of Peru by showing how mathematics and numerical simulations are at the heart of earthquake engineering. Organized by Clubes de Ciencia Peru (https://www.clubesdecienciaperu.org) and lead by Ferando, this workshop also allowed participants to design and fabricate their own Arduino powered shaking table to test small scale building models. Kudos to Fernando for seeding the next generation of Peruvian earthquake engineers!
