Funding to explore emerging technologies in developing countries

We have been awarded funding to explore emerging technologies for the construction and assessment of critical infrastructure in Peru. The EmergStructTech Reserach Group is teaming up with reserachers from San Agustin University to device systems and protocols towards the implementation of 3D printing in the construction of resilient houses and to set-up a low-cost structural monitoring system in a number of key infrastructure assets including a historical 19th century iron bridge.
