About us
The Electrochemical Science and Engineering Group is a multidisciplinary research group at Imperial College London. We work at the interface between the science and engineering of electrochemical devices, mostly focused on automotive & stationary power applications. Our research interest include lithium-ion batteries, lithium-sulfur batteries, 3D tomography and imaging, redox flow cell, PEM fuel cell, supercapacitors, techno-economic analysis and additive manufacturing.
The research group includes four groups across four departments: Mechanical Engineering, Dyson School of Design Engineering, Earth Science Engineering, and Chemical Engineering. The team consists of 11 academic team leaders, 2 project managers, 1 Laboratory Manager, 41 post-docs and 21 PhD students .
